Based in Baltimore, Dean has been
hooked on writing and editing ever since
he penned his first column for his high
school newspaper. After graduating from
Towson University in 1996, he spent three
years as a freelance writer, writing for
Baltimore Magazine, Mid-Atlantic Country
Magazine, Patuxent Publishing, and The
Baltimore Times.
Dean is also an independent filmmaker
and recently established Running Storm
Productions. His first short film, Attack of
the Killer Duct Tape, was an official entry
of the Santa Fe Film Festival and made the
Top 10 at the Creative Alliance's CAmm
Slam in 2007.
